Chapel), 1357-1361 Hertel Ave. (at
Colvin) Buffalo, on Friday from 5-8
PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be
celebrated on Saturday at 2 PM at St.
Margaret Church, 1395 Hertel Ave.,
Buffalo (please assemble at church).

Kathleen L. Smyth

November 10, 1927 - December 13, 2017

Kathleen L. Smyth, loving daughter of the late Joseph S. Smyth and Kathryn Sullivan Smyth. Sister of the late William Joseph Smyth, killed in the WW II Battle of the Bulge 1945.

 Survived by many cousins and loving god-children, devoted and loving friends. A graduate of St. John the Baptist grammar school and Riverside High School, Buffalo, NY and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Canisius College, 1951.

She was employed by the Erie County Department of Social Services for 33 years, retiring in 1986 as Assistant Deputy Commissioner, Kath was a lifelong resident of Buffalo, NY with strong ties to the Riverside area as her family settled in Riverside after coming over from Ireland.

 She was blessed with a loving family, friends and exceptional care givers who were family to her. She made o long life doing what she wanted surrounded by those who loved her.
