Obituary of Deborah Calhoun
Deborah Ann Calhoun née Lane, 66, of Centerville, NY passed away Sunday, December 16, 2018 at her home after losing her battle with cancer. Debbie, daughter of the late Louis J. Lane and wife Mary Roberta Lane, née Ryan, was born March 12, 1952 in Rochester, New York. Debbie was married to Donald Calhoun of Watertown, New York. Debbie was born in Rochester and raised in Rochester and Fillmore, New York. She was married to Ronald P. VanName in 1968 and raised her family in both the Fillmore area and in the Englewood-Port Charlotte area of Florida. In recent years Debbie resided in Bourbon, Missouri where she continued to be a life-long passionate gardener, bird lover, and devoted daughter to her elderly mom. She worked in home health care and loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and was known for being a wonderful cook and homemaker. Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, Louis J. and Mary Roberta Lane; her brother, Louis Michael Lane and his wife, Patricia Sue Lane, and her nephew Brandon Michael Lane. Debbie is survived by her three children, Dione Kish and husband Steve of Centerville, Ronald Michael VanName of Belmont, Tammy Myers and husband Kenneth of Victor, two brothers, J. Patrick Lane and wife Jackie of Stanton, Missouri, Mark J. Lane of Bourbon, Missouri, two sisters, Mary Lou DiMaggio of Sarasota, Florida and Teresa Marie Lane of Centerville, four grandchildren (Chelsie Kish née Beardsley, Christopher, Cameron and Cory Dale Myers), ten great-grandchildren; Ronald Percy VanName, Donald Calhoun, and many nieces; nephews; and other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home Care and Hospice of Allegany County.
